What the hour buys

An hour together for a thirty-minute workout

Sessions run for an hour, even though the workouts I design are never more than thirty minutes: real teaching takes time. I will be building your independence alongside your strength, mobility, balance and cardiovascular fitness.

We will always have a ‘post-match analysis’ so we can review your progress not just in numbers but in how you feel about each movement and the workout as a whole, and how the sessions are impacting other aspects of your life.

Worth repeating

You will need fewer and fewer sessions over time

This sounds like a terrible business model, but it truly is the plan. Some people want a PT because they want someone to be there, motivating them, chasing them, counting their reps, every time they workout. If you want that, I’m not your PT. I’m a teacher, and my goal is to equip you with the tools and knowledge you need to train yourself.

Typically, people will start with a short run of sessions – how many is dependent on the individual – to learn the programme, good form and techniques for self-motivation. Then they will move to something more occasional: a check-in every few weeks / months, or a one-off when something changes. This is the system working.

Online follow-ups

£30 for half an hour to talk through next steps, problem solving, adaptations, sport and lifestyle applications… you might even show me a video of a movement you wish to discuss. If you are very local, we can do this face-to-face.

The consultation really is free

There is nothing to sign, nothing to pay and no pressure at the end of it. We talk about what you want to achieve, how much time you have and where you would want to train. If I do not think I am the right person to help you, I will say so.

The price is the price… mostly

There are no hidden costs. The only times I will have to increase the overall charge is when I have to travel longer distances, or if I need to pay for access to your gym. And I will always be upfront about these additions.
